  1. Control measure of work at height?
    • Use safety belt with proper anchoring above head.
    • Special training must be given before starting the job.
    • All scaffolds must be erected by skill persons.
    • No work after sun set
    • Every platform should free from unnecessary obstruction
    • Grease, mud, paint removed from working platform
  2. What is earthing?
    • Earthling means connecting the natural point of the supply system to the general mass of the earth by line.
  3. What is ELCB?
    • It is protection of living beings under electro charging by fast isolation from the live conductor to avoid permanent disability or death.
  4. Precaution for electric shock
    • Use dry hard gloves & rubber sole, safety boots, gum boots

  5. What is sand blasting?

    • It helps to identify hazards and prevent accident
    • It helps to establish safe work method, working conditions and suitable plant safety rules

  16. Describe different types of hazards?

    • Fire hazards – chemical reaction, electrical Arcs
    • Radiation hazards – dazzing light in fraved rays ultra violet rays
    • Pollution — water pollution & noise pollution
  17. What is inspection?
    • Inspection means to fin out hazards according to checklist prepared with reference to the department operations by the people who are familiar with the plant.
