	Audit	Inspection
1	In audit we ensure that organization is following safety management system.	In Inspection we try to find out unsafe conditions and assess the use of control measures.
2	Audit involves the examination of whole health and safety management system.	In workplace inspection looking at safety practices and checks records in workplace.
3	Audit is used for verify safety standards in organization	Inspection is used to lowers cost associated with the accidents and incidents.
4	Audit examine that precaution taken for hazards and unsafe condition meet to the companies safety standard	Inspection observes unsafe practices
5	In audit checks the workplace	Inspection may require only basic competence
6	Audit is done by trained and approved auditors	Inspection is done by the team within organization
7	Audit is based on review of documentary evidence, back by personal interviews at all levels and observation	Inspection is based on workplace observation with less paper work and interviews of operators.
